Of digital cameras and docks…

Casio says: No recharging without the dock!
[Gadget rant]
One of the primary objectives electronics manufacturers take into consideration in product design these days is portability . Therefore it goes without saying, that when designing an entry level, smallish digital camera meant to be conveniently portable, you should make it possible to recharge/download photos without having to carry around extra cables, attachements or docks. Right?

Now, Casio…why on earth do I have to carry around the dock that comes with the Exilim EX-Z50 to recharge the damn thing? Yes, the doc is nice and convenient for my computer desk, but who wants to carry around a whole mess of cables and docks when travelling?
