My gadget wishlist
Just in case you’re in the mood to send me a gift. (I know you are!)
The OQO:
What is it: Touch screen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Windows XP, USB, Firewire, Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 20 GB hard drive all crammed into a 4.9” x 3.4” x .9” box.
Why I want it: This thing is the (current) ultimate answer to ultraportable travel computing! No more lugging around laptops.
The Motorolla RAZR:
What is it: a “RAZR” thin cellphone
Why I want it: To replace my dying Nokia
Canon SD20 (aka IXUS I5) ultracompact digital camera:
Why I want it: Although I currently have a pretty decent digicam, I am a sucker for tiny 5 MP cameras with superb picture quality.
Sony Vaio FS500 Laptop:
Why I want it: While the OQO would be great on the move, I’d still require a “proper” portable PC for graphics editing, spreadsheets and and other performance-demanding apps.
Garmin eTrex Legend 8 MB GPS
Great for travel/backpacking…lets go geocaching!

Nice try, but you ain’t gettin’ NUTHIN’ from me! If I were to buy any of these toys they would be for me.
At least I know you are alive, what with all that’s going on in Cairo. Where do you guys think you are, Youngstown, Ohio? (Where I live. Was once named “Murder Capital USA”)
